Fail-Bot

Yes, I'm a fail-bot! I started Insanity, did 2 days and stopped. In my defense, we had family in town and that was last minute so, I was easily persuaded to not workout.  And day 3 was spent walking up & down hill at the Zoo pushing a stroller and wrangling my 3yr old monster. I was soooo exhausted at the end of the day I just passed out. BUT, It's Tuesday and I think it's a great day to pick up on Day 2 again! 

I'm hoping that Cory will be on board with working out tonight. He's been so sore since we did the fit-test. He didn't want to work out again, even though we need to. He makes it easy for me to slack off.

Insanity Day 2!

So, I thought I would wake up sore this morning, but I was OK. Not too bad... just sleepy! But, that's what happens when you stay up past midnight! LOL  
So, all day I waited for the Hubster to get home.... He didn't want me to work out without him.  Then, he got home and was like NAAAHHH I don't feel like doing Plyometrics do you? NO WAY!!!! I Don't EVER wanna jump around and get winded and sweaty.. Not my idea of a good time. 
So, I told him he's a bad influence! LOL  He went out and played with the kids at the park while I made dinner. Then, we ate and eventually sent the kids to bed. He fell asleep on the couch and I was No Where near ready for bed, especially since I felt bad for not doing day 2 Insanity! 

I popped in the DVD and my oldest was like, I'll do it with you Mom! and so there you have it. Sierra and I did day 2 of Insanity.. she did way better than me, but I started, and did (most of) it! LOL Success in my book and FAIL for the Hubster!!! hahahahaaaa   
I love him anyways and he's gonna have to work out on Sunday to make up for today and I get to rest!!!! WOOT!!!!!

But, in case your wondering, I did some strength training today! I pulled out the weights and did a few reps and worked out the arm muscles!! ;-)

Fit Test #1

Well, I (successfully) finished Fit Test #1!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!  Boy, was it intense and I felt light headed, had a headache and was ready to puke at the end of it! Sign of a good workout??!!!  LOL  ;-)

My husband, Cory, also did the fit test tonight. He is super pumped and motivated to continue on and be ready for the beach this summer! He wants to be confident enough to walk around without his shirt and not have a Buddha Belly anymore!   

Our daughter, Sierra, did the fit test as well, and she is amazing! She did better than both of us on most things, until the end! She had a very hard time with the Push Up Jacks and the Lower Plank Obliques, but that can all be remedied with practice of her form. She is on the 6th grade basketball team, (1st year doing it!!), so these are all good exercises for her to practice to be in excellent shape if she wants to continue with sports.
